Noah Brier’s brilliant ‘Brand Tags’ is a tool that quickly gives you an up-to-the-minute consumer data view in the form of, you guessed it — tags. This couldn’t be any simpler. A great way to explore brand consensus in the marketplace without the layers of clunky charts and Powerpoint presos.
It’s amazing to see the disparity between Apple and Microsoft or my former employer with my current employer. There is something about the anonymity of the internet that helps expose the raw emotion and honesty behind the impressions of the masses.
For another slice of the data layer, there is also a cool “game” devoted to guessing the brand based on the tags. Not as easy as you might think.
