A show just for web entrepreneurs
Wednesday, February 20th, 2008While aimlessly flipping around the talking box the other night, I stumbled upon a title that grabbed my attention. The show, “Startup Junkies,” airs on the esoteric-sounding, ambiguously-targeted MOJO network. Sounding about what I thought it might be lured me into taking it for a spin.
Upon watching, it didn’t seem particularly engaging, in say the way Startup Dot Com was. While the idea is interesting and could have potentially made for a great reality show, the people (an uninspired, haggard looking lot) and the company, Earth Class Mail (a terrible name for an auto-sorting junk mail service) didn’t exactly grab my attention. All said, I didn’t give it the full viewing and perhaps should give it another chance.
There could be some lessons worth learning and some insight I couldn’t easily gain elsewhere. If you have seen it or see it after this and have an opinion, please report back to me for further consideration.
